Behavioral Consultant
Location: Petaluma and greater Sonoma county
Job Type: Part time/Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, individualized support and treatment to children and adults with neurodivergence in various settings, including clients' homes, schools, and community environments.
- With the support and guidance of our BCBAs, create and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
- Regularly monitor and track client progress using data collection during and after every session.
- Complete clinical notes at the end of every session.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to care.
- Provide guidance and training to families and caregivers, empowering them to effectively support their loved ones.
- Travel to clients’ homes and other designated locations to deliver sessions.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Masters preferred.
Experience: Background working with children and/or adults with individualized learning needs. Experience working with neurodivergent individuals across multiple settings is highly desired. Training and education in psychology, child development, counseling, and trauma informed care are highly preferred.
Empathy and Compassion: A strong empathetic and compassionate approach towards clients and their families, with an understanding of their unique challenges and needs.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals, including educators, therapists, and healthcare providers.
Flexibility: Able to accommodate clients schedules and provide in home or school support based on needs. Afternoon and evening availability is a huge plus.
Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and family dynamics.
*Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations required.

We offer highly competitive wages starting at $30.00 an hour with potential increases after an initial training and probationary period. We also offer a variety of benefits for part time and full time employees including:
